Matt Morton and Nick Lunch first realised the potential of the derelict Westhill Farm a few years ago. Networking and meetings over the years made it clear that their vision was incredibly appealing to the Oxfordshire community. In late 2013, the ball really started rolling, establishing a small, core team working hard between now and the end of 2014 to get the ball rolling on funding and feasibility, volunteer co-ordination, and project design. In just a few months, we have already gone from what was an idea with high potential to having engaging and proactive meetings with the local community, the Oxford City Council and potential funding and support bodies. We also have an incredibly popular and active Facebook community base, found here.
